A bit of reflection, rant, etc.
First of all CONGRATS to Akash and Anh, once again, for their successful marriage as Romans today (; Yupp ancient history with Lundy is definitely the weirdest yet most high-spirited class I have this year. . .

Regardless of the facts, it just don't feel like we're finishing school in 2 days. Maybe it's the way we began year 12 in term 4, initiating twice as much stress and even as Christmas is a week away, we're not feeling that sense of ceremonial spirit, well, because as Saunders puts it "We've only just begun", and Jane's lines "No such thing as holidays for year 12".

Besides VA, I'd say I failed everything else, which just goes to show how easy I've been taking everything. I swear to god... next year I will do all my fucking homework. It makes me wince every time someone talks about the importance of organisation. It's not a habit you can fully develop on over just a few weeks, and I've been one of the worst all my life. I'm just looking at the list of things I need to and want to have completed before school begins again, and honestly six weeks have never seemed so little.

Anyway nonetheless I'm glad the horrors of shs routines has finally reached another long break. I actually can't wait to begin my no-life cram :D Huge goodluck to all of you too, and since I won't be writing chirstmas cards this year... I'll see what alternative I can prepare. (:

ALSOALSO thanks to tracey and john and uhhh i completely forgot who else there was... for the uber early birthday present!! :D I'm still trying to comprehend the instructions. . .:L

lonely movie marathon
Actually 3 movies in 2 days isn't that impressive, but whatevers it is for me. It's been centuries since I've felt so unobliging to study.

1. Rise of the Planet of Apes

You're wrong if you think it's gonna be about monkeys taking over the world. They only broke out of their torture-some cages to kill off the bad guys, destroy the lab their relatives died in, and leave at a victory for their own freedom. It's actually a really cliche animal story about a "no you're not a pet" who eventually finds belonging where they're meant to be (which means not the attic of a house on a human-populated street in which they grew up in). HOWEVER not a bad movie (: 

2. Cowboys vs. Aliens

Every now and then you come across something that changes you're opinion about something else. Cowboys weren't cool before I watched this. In fact I imagined them simply old men in old fashioned clothes having gun fights in a desert land. NOT that it wasn't so, but the main cowboys in this movie were friggen mad (: The aliens were pathetic, as was the story, but watch it just for the cowboys seriously. Can I also mention that for once the main guy didn't end up with any chick. Somehow I just really liked the modification there. Who said forever alone cowboys were any less cool? 

3. Noriko Goes to Seoul

You can obviously guess why I watched this one (: HONG KI!!! His hopeless case uncle and grandma call him "punk" in this movie, and that's exactly what he's portrayed as. Jerky, a liar, with selfish ambitions; the type of character you automatically hate. But who can't forgive him after hearing his tragic past story? (Oh so typical... BUT IT'S HONG KI!!!) Especially if you're a soft Japanese woman who is homeless in South Korea. I guess I just really love the way this film arches away from romance. The typical optimistic jap character is actually in her 30s or 40s, and Hong Ki roleplaying a teenage gone astray, so the love developed between them two is purely gratitude - oh did I fail to mention the movie's about the two of them sharing a singing ambition? If you want something bittersweet (but more the sweet), then watch this! (: 

I have two blockbuster movies left to watch. Mulan (why didn't I know about this new release?!) and Thor.

you know you never do truly stop loving something you've once crazed over. just like you never really forget. even if it's small, or didn't last long. it's always there somewhere, just waiting to be found again. i've once loved you so much. you made me squeal, laugh, you made me stupified once, and another time cry my eyes out seeing you hurt. but it didn't change that i loved you... well at least for a month or so. now after a whole year, upon finding out f.t.island sung both jap and korean, and feeling the nostalgia swell in me at the sound of your voice, oh.my.god. be it Jeremy or Lee Hong Ki, I BLOODY love you!!! :D ok i'll shut up now LOL. isn't he just gorgeous though... yes there are boys out there that rock more than justin bieber :)

24 days till christmas :)

christmas this year is less promising than the last. but it's australia anyway. i'm still counting on my white christmas experience in new york, or London, one of them. i swear i'll probably be studying on christmas eve and day. then go out on boxing day only cus it's my sisters bdae. sigh :( happy december anyways.
